An all women team fighting poverty and inequalities in today’s food supply chain.
The Paisley Twins, Lisa and Zoe, grew up in the outskirts of Sydney, growing fruit and veg in their backyard veggie garden. Having been exposed to agriculture from a young age, then learning about the science behind food production in High School, it was an easy decision to become Agricultural Scientists.
During their university studies, Lisa and Zoe found their passion for sustainability and agricultural development. It was through different work experiences and internships, that the Paisley Twins visited the Republic of Laos and Fiji. Here they got first hand experience working with local farmers as well as social entrepreneurship and team management.
In 2018, the Paisley twins moved to Fiji to startup Agriculture Connect Pte Ltd T/A Aggie Global to connect small farmers to big markets to boost income. They were working there full time, until the COVID-19 pandemic spread globally so in May 2020, they came back to Sydney and started up Aggie Global T/A Aggie Gifts in Australia to help Aussie farmers and Indigenous suppliers in the bushfood industry.

Lisa is the older, ‘wiser’ twin of the founding pair.
At Aggie, Lisa is your go to contact for all things Fiji and marketing across both countries. With her training in Leadership and Management, Lisa is the one working day to day with the Fijian team to keep things running smoothly. Lisa also covers strategy and finance, so she is constantly talking with key partners to move projects forward. As a result, Lisa plays a key role in marketing. So if you message Aggie over social media, you’re more than likely going to hear from Lisa.
Although younger, Zoe is taller, which is likely the easiest way to differentiate between the founding pair (if you ever meet them in the Aggie 'uniform'!)
Zoe is responsible for product development. Anything from website updates (with the basic knowledge to keep the website code functional) to curating new gift box ranges, developing new products or farmer training programs, Zoe is the lead developer behind these initiatives.
